Mini based. Haven't nailed it down yet.

Edit - It's a DeCampos Cox GTM

After seeing this photo (below) I realized exactly what it was.

It's still mini based, but the same way some Cobra kits are "Mustang based." It uses engines, subframes, and probably some other components from the Mini.

Apparently, (like 70s American VW based kit cars) it doesn't seem like any two are alike. (from what I saw in my exhaustive five minute research of the subject)

LOL, I noticed the decampos flickr-account immediately when I added it in a google-search, just wanted you to admit your epic failure ;-)

Nevertheless, a Cox GTM Coupé with a Gulf livery looks awesome. And you made the Mini-connection quite quick so I'll take my hat of four you.

The proportions made me immediately think "Mini Marcos", and started searching Mini Kit cars. I was surprised to find it was mid-engined.
